The Student Council

The Student Council is the self-government institution of the SAUA students.
The supreme authority is the Student Society, which elects the Chairman of the Student Council and forms the Presidium.
Representing the interests of students and maintaining their rights among the authorities of the University, the Student Council also takes an active part in public activities: organizes various cultural and sport measures, sociological polls, competitions.
In common with the Trade-Union Committee it co-ordinates amateur talent activities, various circles, it is occupied with the problems of students’ rest and spare time. Students of the SAUA take part at different competitions and, as a rule, win prizes.

The Student Council is an actual member of the International Youth Council in Armenia. It collaborates with All-Armenian Youth Fund with the financial help of which carries out most of the programs. The Student Council of the SAUA is ready to collaborate with any youth public organization in the name of common interests.
