"News of Armenian State Agrarian University"

The journal “News of Armenian State Agrarian University” was founded in May 2003.
In this short period the journal has won international recognition. The result of the collaboration with the scientists from Russia, the USA, Germany,
Holland, Switzerland, Georgia, the Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Byelorussia, Tajikistan and other countries was the eight  numbers of the journal, in which over 350 articles were published dedicated to various fields of the agricultural science.
The journal editorship with its professional personnel is headed by the Pro-rector of the University for Science D. P. Petrosyan.
The journal is published every two weeks and has its appendix in which practical recommendations for farmers are published.

The USA Department of Agriculture renders great support to the journal. The Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Armenia considered the journal “News of The State Agrarian University of Armenia” to be an international scientific journal.International scientific conference, “Problems of Land Resource Use and Management,” will take place through October 22 to October 24, 2009 in the State Agrarian University of Armenia.
The conference comprises the following sectors:

• Land resource management: land management, use, land reclamation, soil science and agriculture
• Plant and vegetable growing
• Agroecology, forestry
• Viticulture, pomiculture and plant protection
• Animal husbandry
• Veterinary science
• Mechanization of agriculture
• Water problems
• Technology of foodstuff production
• Agrarian economics
• Humanities

Conference reports (articles) will be published in the “Bulletin of the State Agrarian University of Armenia.”  The articles are submitted in Russian or in English indicating the organization the author(s) is (are) working in. The number of authors should be no more than four. The article should not exceed seven (7) typed pages (Arial font). Page format is A4, text size – 175x255mm (including page number), font size – 12, spacing – double. The article title should be in capital letters. The article should have five (5) keywords. The diagrams (graphs) should be in Corel Draw (the file in Corel Draw should be attached). The articles should have abstracts of maximum 50 words in Armenian (for foreigners – in Russian) and in English without the title and names of the authors. The electronic version should be attached to the article.
