Department of Continuous Training and Improvement of Professional Skills
The functions of the Department are the following:
- Elaboration of the scientific-educational strategies of the SAUA.
- Systemization of the activity of the SAUA basic Lyceum and rural schools,
- Coordination of the improvement of qualification of the professorial-pedagogical staff of the SAUA and specialists of agriculture.
- Rendering methodical assistance to graduates and students of the University to choose and get additional specialities.
The structure of the Department includes the SAUA basic Lyceum of general education, departments of re-qualification of specialists, analytical research and professional orientation during the choice of additional specializations, and the center of employment of the SAUA graduates.
The Lyceum personnel’s main aim is the formation of individual qualities and deliberate choice of future specializations among students. The basic gymnasium collaborates with 17 schools of general education of different regions of the Republic, the best graduates of which further enter the University.
The Department of Analytical Research elaborates new conceptions and approaches, the aim of which is the optimization of educational, scientific and other sphere activities of the SAUA. The Department of Improvement of qualification coordinates the problems of re-qualification of professorial-pedagogical staff and employees of the University and introduction of new methods and technical equipment in the educational process. At the same time, the Department organizes courses for the improvement of professional skills of the specialists of agricultural production.
Special attention is paid to the problem of succession of generations. Coordination of the work of the chairs training probationers is also involved in the competency of the Department.
The Department of Professional Orientation in the choice of additional specializations renders support of all kinds not only to graduates of the University but students as well.
